Description

The Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, or RIM, is located in the heart of the vibrant, growing Midtown Detroit neighborhood. As part of the larger Detroit Medical Center, we are housed within the bustling DMC Campus. This affords us the ability to provide our residents with a variety of experiences throughout the continuum of care. RIM’s mission statement says: The patient is our purpose. Our mentors work closely with the neurologic PT residents in order to develop a patient-centered, evidenced-based treatment philosophy. The mentors bring a diverse set of experience and specializations to the program. The Neurologic PT Residency at RIM provides an innovative online curriculum that includes live courses taught by leading researchers and experts in the field. Residents work with a nationwide cohort to critically analyze current evidence and discuss patient management strategies.
